Laur\u00e9at du Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral des lyc\u00e9es (1er Prix d\u2019histoire de la musique), il entre la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 16 ans, au Conservatoire de Paris o\u00f9 il est l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve d\u2019Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Thierry Escaich, Jean-Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Neuburger et Guillaume Connesson. Il y obtient les Prix de piano, d\u2019harmonie, d\u2019accompagnement au piano et d\u2019orchestration \u2013 tous \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 avec les f\u00e9licitations du jury \u2013 ainsi que les Prix de contrepoint et fugue.<\/p>\n<p>Il est admis en septembre 2022 en 3e cycle \u2013 Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019Artiste Interpr\u00e8te tout en se perfectionnant aupr\u00e8s de C\u00e9dric Tiberghien au sein de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Jaroussky. Il \u00e9tudie actuellement la direction d\u2019orchestre dans la classe d\u2019Alain Altinoglu. Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 son activit\u00e9 de pianiste, Gabriel Durliat est en juin 2022 l\u2019un des six musiciens s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour \u00e9tudier \u00e0 la Malko International Academy for Young Conductors de Copenhague organis\u00e9e par le Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Il b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie dans ce cadre des conseils de chefs d\u2019orchestre de premier plan tels que Fabio Luisi, Herbert Blomstedt ou Johannes Schlaefli. Il est en octobre 2023 chef assistant de l\u2019Ensemble Intercontemporain pour une production des Espaces Acoustiques de G\u00e9rard Grisey \u00e0 la Philharmonie de Paris. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier Fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 remporter le concours international Piano Campus en f\u00e9vrier 2022, Gabriel Durliat remporte en mai 2023 le 2e prix \u00e0 la Hans von B\u00fclow International Conducting from the Piano Competition de Meiningen (Allemagne), rare concours consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la direction depuis le piano.
